Eqonic Group and Barton Knight Group have entered into a strategic Collaboration Agreement to jointly develop and scale renewable energy and battery storage projects across the United Kingdom.
Under the long-term agreement, the two companies will combine Eqonic’s battery storage technologies with Barton Knight’s installation and maintenance expertise to support the growing demand for clean energy solutions in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
As part of the collaboration, Eqonic will supply battery storage systems, inverters, and technical support to Barton Knight through defined supply contracts. Barton Knight, through its renewables division Barton Knight Energy, will provide installation and maintenance services for Eqonic’s customer projects under separate service agreements.
The companies stated that the partnership is designed to create a fully integrated end-to-end renewable energy offering, covering technology supply, system installation, and long-term operational support. Both organisations will also provide each other with “preferred supplier” status while maintaining operational flexibility through a non-exclusive arrangement.
The agreement further outlines a structured framework focused on joint opportunity assessment, transparent communication, high-quality equipment supply and installation standards, regulatory compliance, customer service, and continuous operational improvement.
Commenting on the collaboration, Jas Kandola, CEO of Eqonic Group, said the partnership would strengthen the company’s ability to deploy energy storage solutions at scale while expanding customer support capabilities across the UK market.
Paul Vine, Director of Barton Knight Energy, noted that Eqonic’s advanced battery technologies and research capabilities align with Barton Knight’s objective of delivering future-ready renewable energy systems and sustainable energy solutions to customers.
Both companies will continue to operate independently while leveraging the collaboration to enhance operational efficiency, expand market reach, and accelerate renewable energy adoption across the UK.
