Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the operationalisation of a 50 MW solar power project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five.
According to the company, the solar project commenced commercial operations on June 1, 2026, following the receipt of the necessary regulatory clearances and approvals. The newly commissioned capacity forms part of AGEL’s ongoing renewable energy expansion at the Khavda site, one of the world’s largest renewable energy developments.
With the commissioning of the 50 MW solar project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 19,835.8 MW, further strengthening its position as one of India’s leading renewable energy developers.
The Khavda Renewable Energy Park, located in Gujarat, is a key component of AGEL’s long-term growth strategy and is expected to play a significant role in supporting India’s clean energy transition and renewable energy capacity targets.
The company continues to expand its solar, wind, and hybrid energy portfolio across the country as part of its commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions and contributing to India’s decarbonisation objectives.
