Meyer Industries Limited is among the world’s largest manufacturers of premium cookware, while Meyer Aluminium (Thailand) Company Limited operates as a leading aluminium rolling mill. The project was supported by Myrex (Thailand) Limited, an affiliate of Meyer Industries and its sales and marketing arm in Thailand.

The solar installation is expected to reduce approximately 3,200 tonnes of carbon emissions annually and generate estimated energy cost savings of THB 360 million over the contract period. Delivered under stringent technical standards and audited by a Japanese government inspection team, the project underscores Constant Energy’s focus on compliance-driven, high-performance renewable energy solutions for industrial clients.

The inauguration ceremony brought together senior leadership from both organisations, including Franck Constant, CEO & Founder of Constant Energy; Joseph Lo, General Manager & Director of Meyer Industries and Myrex (Thailand); and James Cheng, President of Meyer Aluminium (Thailand). The event also saw participation from Teeradech Areeprayoonkit, Assistant Director at the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate Office under the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), who highlighted the importance of industrial collaboration in advancing Thailand’s energy transition.

Commenting on the development, Franck Constant said the project reflects what can be achieved through strong partnerships and shared sustainability commitments. Joseph Lo emphasised Meyer Industries’ long-term focus on sustainable manufacturing and responsible operations, while James Cheng noted that the collaboration marks a key step toward reducing environmental impact and improving operational efficiency.

Notably, the project was delivered with no upfront capital investment for Meyer Industries, enabling access to cost-effective solar power through a structured model that provides free electricity for over 140 days annually while reducing energy costs across the contract period. This approach aligns with Constant Energy’s broader strategy of supporting industrial decarbonisation across multiple IEAT estates in Thailand.

The partnership is expected to expand further, with both companies exploring additional opportunities to enhance energy efficiency, improve system performance, and advance shared sustainability goals through long-term collaboration.
