Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced the extension of the additional charge of the post of Director (Projects) held by Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company.
According to a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE, the Ministry of Power has extended the additional charge for a further period of three months with effect from July 1, 2026, or until a regular incumbent assumes charge of the position, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The extension has been approved under the Ministry of Power Order No. 25-11/3/2026-PG(MoP)-Part(1) dated July 23, 2026, and follows the company’s earlier communication dated April 6, 2026 regarding the interim arrangement.
POWERGRID disclosed the development through a regulatory filing signed by Anjana Luthra, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, in accordance with stock exchange disclosure requirements.
