Bluebird Solar has secured a 278 MW solar PV module supply order from Bridge & Roof Company (India) Limited for two renewable energy projects being developed by SJVN in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Under the contract, the company will supply 600 Wp M10R N-Type TOPCon Dual Glass Bifacial solar PV modules for a 133 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat, and a 145 MW project in Nawa, Rajasthan.
According to the company, the order reinforces its position as a domestic solar module manufacturer and reflects the growing confidence of EPC contractors and public sector enterprises in its manufacturing capabilities, product quality and project execution.
Commenting on the development, Rohit Tikku, Chief Executive Officer of Bluebird Solar, said the order marks a significant milestone for the company and underscores its commitment to quality, technological innovation and reliable execution. He added that Bluebird Solar remains focused on supplying high-performance solar modules that support India’s renewable energy transition and energy security objectives.

He noted that Bluebird Solar will continue investing in advanced technologies and expanding its integrated manufacturing ecosystem to support India’s ambition of becoming a global renewable energy manufacturing hub.
Bluebird Solar currently operates a 2.5 GW fully automated solar PV module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, serving utility-scale, commercial, industrial and residential markets across India.
The company also outlined plans to expand its manufacturing footprint by establishing 2.5 GW of solar cell production capacity, along with wafer and ingot manufacturing facilities. In addition, it intends to diversify into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as part of its strategy to build an integrated clean energy manufacturing ecosystem.
Bluebird Solar said the latest order supports its commitment to strengthening domestic renewable energy manufacturing and contributing to India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity through the deployment of high-efficiency solar technologies.
