The project comprises 11 kV Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects and represents another step towards Powertrac’s target of building an operational IPP portfolio of 1 GW by 2030.

The company said the milestone reflects its execution capabilities and long-term focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio. With the commissioning of the 50 MW capacity, Powertrac will continue to develop distributed renewable energy projects as it works towards its 1 GW operational IPP target.

The company congratulated its team on the milestone and said the commissioning strengthens its ongoing efforts to expand its presence in India’s renewable energy sector.
