LONGi has officially launched its integrated solar and energy storage solution, LONGi ONE, in Egypt, marking a step in the company’s efforts to support the country’s clean energy transition. The solution was unveiled on August 11 at the Egypt Storage & PV Launch Event, held under the theme “Tomorrow Starts with ONE.”
The event brought together government representatives, renewable energy developers, EPC companies, investors and industry stakeholders to discuss opportunities for integrated solar and energy storage deployment in Egypt and the wider MENA region.
LONGi ONE combines photovoltaic generation, battery energy storage, digital intelligence and lifecycle services within an integrated platform. The solution is designed for utility-scale solar-plus-storage projects, commercial and industrial applications, and projects operating in challenging grid environments.
The launch comes as Egypt advances its renewable energy targets, including a goal of reaching 42% renewable energy penetration by 2030. LONGi said stronger grid flexibility, energy storage and intelligent energy management will become increasingly important as the country expands renewable generation.
The event also concluded with two strategic agreements with Reestech Group and Egypta Group, establishing further opportunities for collaboration on integrated photovoltaic and energy storage solutions across Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.
