Hon. Anura Karunathilaka, Minister of Energy, Government of Sri Lanka, along with a delegation, visited JAKSON Group’s solar module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to explore potential areas of cooperation in renewable energy and clean energy technologies.
During the visit, the delegation toured JAKSON’s 1.2 GW fully automated solar module manufacturing facility, which produces high-efficiency P-type and N-type TOPCon modules. The delegation was also briefed on the company’s broader clean energy capabilities, including electrolyser manufacturing and green energy solutions.
The visit provided an opportunity for JAKSON Group to showcase its renewable energy manufacturing capabilities and discuss potential areas of collaboration with Sri Lanka. Discussions with the company’s leadership focused on renewable energy, emerging clean energy technologies, industry engagement and technology cooperation.
Anura Karunathilaka said Sri Lanka could learn from JAKSON’s experience and capabilities in renewable energy and green technologies and expressed interest in exploring opportunities for cooperation with the company.
Sundeep Gupta, Vice Chairman, JAKSON Group, said the visit reflected the growing focus on a sustainable energy future and expressed the company’s interest in exploring areas where its experience and capabilities could support cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.
