The Pan India Solar Sector Association (PISSA) organised a business and networking event on August 22, 2026, bringing together more than 150 solar industry professionals at the Radisson Blu in Mahipalpur, New Delhi.
The gathering brought together entrepreneurs, EPC leaders, manufacturers, renewable energy developers and business associates from across India’s solar sector. Due to space constraints and high participation, PISSA temporarily closed registrations for the event.
Event Focuses on Solar Safety and BESS
The event featured educational presentations covering electrical and installation safety and battery energy storage systems (BESS), along with presentations from event partners.
Dr Rajesh Arora delivered a presentation on safety, while Sunil Bhatnagar addressed BESS-related topics. The programme also featured a solar-focused quiz contest led by PISSA President Om Taneja and a lucky draw, with prizes presented to participating contestants and the draw winner.
According to PISSA, the event facilitated business connections, industry discussions, partnership opportunities and the exchange of ideas among participants, while promoting a shared vision for a sustainable energy future.
PISSA Announces Upcoming Solar and BESS Workshop
During the event, attendees were informed about PISSA’s upcoming Solar and BESS Workshop scheduled for September 25, 2026.
The workshop is expected to bring together representatives from government departments and ministries, including MSDE, NSDC, MNRE and SCGJ, alongside industry stakeholders and PISSA members.
PISSA currently has a membership base of more than 2,000 members and operates as a registered association.
The association also acknowledged its event partners, including EN-Icon, New Energie and Feston, along with gift partners Ability Automation, CL Energy and Finolex Cables.
PISSA said the successful event reflected the continued engagement of India’s solar industry and thanked participants, partners and its team for contributing to the programme.
