KMCC Infra Limited, formerly known as Karnimata Construction Company, has secured a project worth more than ₹244 crore from Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL) for transmission infrastructure development in Bihar.
The project will involve the development of 220 kV and 132 kV transmission infrastructure covering approximately 205 route kilometres (RKM). The project is expected to support the strengthening and expansion of Bihar’s power transmission network.
The project award marks an important milestone in KMCC Infra’s growth and further expands the company’s presence in India’s power transmission sector. The company will be responsible for executing the infrastructure works in line with project requirements and timelines.
KMCC Infra said the order reflects the continued trust of its customers in the company’s execution capabilities. The company also reiterated its focus on quality, safety and timely completion of projects.
The development comes as India continues to expand and modernise its electricity transmission infrastructure to meet growing power demand and improve grid connectivity.
With the new project in Bihar, KMCC Infra aims to contribute to the state’s transmission infrastructure while strengthening its portfolio in the power sector. The company said it remains focused on delivering reliable infrastructure and supporting the country’s broader power development goals.
