Vestas has secured a 50 MW wind turbine order in Germany from European Energy Deutschland GmbH for the Wulfshagen wind project, as part of its latest order intake.
The project will feature eight V162-6.2 MW wind turbines. Vestas will provide long-term service support under separate agreements, with two turbines covered by 20-year AOM 4000 service agreements and the remaining six turbines covered by 20-year AOM 5000 service agreements.
Turbine delivery is planned to begin in Q1 2027, while commissioning is scheduled to begin in Q4 2027. The order further supports the expansion of wind power capacity in Germany and strengthens Vestas’ presence in the country’s renewable energy market.
