German renewable energy platform Navaris has secured awards for 11 onshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 304.5 MW in the latest auction conducted by Germany’s Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).
Navaris received awards for 100% of the bids it submitted, covering a total of 46 wind turbines. The awarded capacity accounts for more than 12% of the total volume allocated in the tender round.
Once operational, the projects are expected to generate enough renewable electricity to supply approximately 200,000 households, contributing to Germany’s renewable energy expansion and regional decarbonisation efforts.
The auction was highly competitive, with the Bundesnetzagentur awarding 237 bids totaling 2,523 MW from 461 submitted bids representing approximately 5,250 MW of capacity. The tender was therefore significantly oversubscribed.
The latest awards add to Navaris’ growing German renewable energy portfolio. The company has more than 3 GW of projects in advanced development, alongside a broader multi-gigawatt early-stage pipeline. It currently manages 1.3 GW of renewable energy assets that are either operational or under construction across Germany.
The auction result follows Navaris’ recent announcement that Qualitas Energy’s German platform would operate under the Navaris brand. The new identity brings together the platform’s teams, projects and capabilities under a brand focused on the German renewable energy market.
Johannes Overbeck, CEO of Navaris, said the company’s successful bids demonstrate the strength of its project portfolio and development capabilities and provide further momentum for its operations under the Navaris brand.
Navaris has more than 200 employees across six locations in Germany, including Berlin, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Trier, Cologne and Stuttgart. The company operates across the renewable energy value chain, covering project origination and development, construction, operations and long-term asset management.
