NLC India Limited, a Navratna Government of India enterprise, has disclosed the allotment of commercial papers worth ₹500 crore. The company informed the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited about the issuance through a regulatory filing under Regulations 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the company’s communication dated September 23, 2026, NLC India allotted 10,000 commercial papers on September 22, 2026. Each commercial paper has a face value of ₹500,000, taking the total value of the issuance to ₹500 crore.
The disclosure was signed by the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of NLC India. The issuance represents a short-term borrowing instrument through which the company can raise funds from financial markets for its corporate and operational requirements.
NLC India, headquartered in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, with its registered office in Chennai, undertakes activities across mining and power generation and uses various financing instruments to support its business operations.
The latest commercial paper allotment forms part of the company’s short-term financial management activities. The regulatory disclosure provides investors and stock exchanges with details of the fund-raising transaction and supports transparency regarding NLC India’s financing and liquidity management.
