Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced the commissioning of 15.5 MW of wind power capacity as part of its 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Project. The capacity was commissioned on October 1, 2026, at the project site by Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy.
The company had earlier informed the stock exchanges about the project on September 8, 2026. With the latest commissioning, the project’s commissioned capacity has reached 368.95 MWp, along with approximately 201 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
The overall planned capacity of the project stands at 550.6 MWp, supported by approximately 201 MWh of BESS. The project is being developed to provide firm and dispatchable renewable power, combining renewable generation with energy storage to improve the availability and flexibility of clean electricity.
The commissioning of the additional wind capacity also contributes to Juniper Green Energy’s overall renewable energy portfolio. Following the latest commissioning, the aggregate operational capacity of Juniper Green Energy Limited and its subsidiaries has increased to approximately 2,740 MWp, along with around 603 MWh of BESS.
The development highlights the company’s continued expansion in renewable energy generation and energy storage. The integration of wind power and BESS is expected to support more reliable renewable power delivery and help address the intermittency associated with renewable energy generation.
Juniper Green Energy has been expanding its portfolio across renewable energy technologies as India continues to increase its focus on clean power generation and round-the-clock renewable energy solutions. The company has requested that the latest commissioning announcement be taken on record.
