POWERGRID has invited open competitive bids for the supply and commissioning of portable battery chargers, also referred to as cell boosters, for various substations in the region. The procurement is aimed at supporting the charging of spare cells maintained at electrical substations and ensuring the availability of essential battery backup equipment.
The tender has been issued through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The procurement is being conducted under a standard supply contract for goods, with the work location covering West Bengal and areas falling under the Eastern Region II jurisdiction.
