SECI Tenders 34 MW Solar PV Power Plant in Telangana

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for installing a 34 MW solar PV power plant at the Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana(SCCL).


20 April 2020 is the last date for bid submission and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. To address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders, a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 30 March 2020. The date and time of opening of the financial bids will be intimated after the shortlisting of techno-commercial bids. Earnest Money Deposit(EMD) of Rs 3.08 crore should be submitted by the bidder along with their bids. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 154.36 crores.


Scope of Supply & Work includes all design & engineering, procurement & supply of equipment and materials, testing at manufacturer’s works, multi-level inspections, packing and forwarding, supply, receipt, unloading, and storage at site, associated civil works, services, permits, licenses, installation and incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of a total of 34 MW (AC) Grid Interactive Solar PV Power Plant and performance demonstration with associated equipment and materials on turnkey basis at different locations and capacity as mentioned in the table below along with 10 (Ten) years comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of Operational Acceptance.

To be eligible to participate in the bids, the bidder should have experience in EPC execution of ground-mounted solar projects on turnkey basis including design, supply, installation and commissioning of cumulative capacity, not less than 17 MW in the last 7 financial years as on the last date of bid submission. 

The Minimum Average Annual Turnover of the bidder should be Rs 61.74 crore in the last three financial years and should have Rs 38.59 crore as Working Capital.

The 34 MW capacity will be developed at 2 different sites:

Site 1 will be of 11MW and it will be located at Chennur whereas site 2 will be of 23 MW and it will be located at Kothagudem.
