ROADS AND BRIDGES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF KERALA LIMITED has invited bids for 735 kWp DC Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic System at Cusat under 2 cover system.

The Government of Kerala has authorized CUSAT to nominate Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala (RBDCK) as the SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) for the Civil and Electrical Works for developing CUSAT as International Center of Excellence in Academics & Research.

The scope of work includes Designing, supplying, installation, Testing, Commissioning and Comprehensive Maintenance for 5 Years. The location of the project is at Cochin.

The Estimate Amount of this project is Rs. 3.62 crores. To participate in this bid, Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 1,00,000/- should be paid by the bidder.EMD should be made via. e-payment only. Bidders should also pay a tender submission fee of Rs 8,850/- inclusive of GST through e-payment only. The period of completion for this project is for 6 months.

The opening date of online bid submission is 25-03-2020 at 10.00 am and the last date of bid submission is 06/04/2020 at 04.00 pm. The last date and time of receipt of relevant documents are 07/04/2020 at 04.00 pm. Opening Date and time of online Prequalification bid are 08/04/2020 at 11.00 am. Opening Date and time of financial bid Will be published in the E-GP web site. A Pre Bid meeting for this tender was held on 23/03/2020 at 11.30 am.

The document stated that bidders should have a Class II or above Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) to be procured from any Registration Authorities (RA) under the Certifying Agency of India and bidders have to procure DSC at their own cost.

The document highlighted that, It is necessary to click on the “Freeze bid” link/ icon to complete the process of bid submission otherwise the bid will not get submitted online and the same shall not be available for viewing/ opening during the bid opening process.

 Currently, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has invited competitive bids for setting up 150 MW rooftop solar PV power plants under the SOURA project on EPC, EPC-RESCO hybrid basis in the domestic sector in Kerala.
