The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) issued a tender, inviting online bids from eligible Bidders for installing 100 KWp On-Grid Solar PV Rooftop System at Singrauli Super Thermal Power Station, Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work for this project includes Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of Grid Solar PV Rooftop System. The bidders are also expected to provide a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for 5 years.
The last date for downloading bid documents and bid submission is 27.04.2020. The last date for clarification is 18.04.2020 and the opening date of the bid is 29.04.2020.
Bidders are expected to submit Rs.50,000 as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) along with Rs.1328 as Cost of Bidding Documents. The bidders will have 365 days to complete the work on the project.
Eligibility criteria for the bidder to participate in this project are that the bidder should have executed the work of Design, Supply, Erection/ Supervised Erection & Commissioned/ Supervised commissioning of one (01) no. Grid-connected Rooftop Solar PV Plant of 50 KWp capacity or more, during the last 7 years with a single order of value not less than Rs 33.84 Lakhs or two orders of value not less than Rs 21.15 Lakhs each or three orders of value not less than Rs 16.92 Lakhs each It has been highlighted that at least one reference plant of “50KWp or above” must have been in successful operation for the previous year. The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years should be Rs 42.30 Lakhs
The document stated that NTPC shall allow purchase preference to bids from local suppliers as defined in the bidding documents. The bidders may apprise themselves of the relevant provisions of bidding documents in this regard before submission of their bids. A prospective Bidder requiring any clarification of the Bidding Document shall put the query at least three days before the clarification end date.
The document also highlighted that the transfer of bidding documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible and bidders may note that in case they do not accept the GTE conditions, their bids shall not be evaluated and shall be rejected.
Recently, NTPC floated a tender for the design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning and O&M for 3 years for 650Kwp Rooftop Solar at NTPC Sipat in Bilaspur District of Chhattisgarh.
In January NTPC had floated a tender for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of its 50 MW grid-connected Rajgarh solar project in the state of Madhya Pradesh, which will likely be executed in a year.
