MNRE Issues Amendments to ALMM Order, Includes Open Access and KUSUM Program
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued amendments to the ‘Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) of Solar Modules (requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2019. As per the amendment, only the models and manufacturers included in the ALMM list would be eligible for use in government projects, government-assisted projects, projects under government programs, open access, and net metering projects installed in the country. It is also clarified that “Projects under Government Schemes & Programmes” referred above, includes project set up under Component A of PM KUSUM scheme. The amendment shall be applicable on RE projects which apply for openaccess or net-metering facility from 1st April 2022.
SJVN Limited Bags 125 MW Grid Connected Solar Power Projects in UP Solar Park
SJVN Limited (SJVN) has been issued Letter of Intent by UPNEDA for 75 MW grid connected Solar Power Project at Gurhah, in Jalaun District and 50 MW grid connected Solar Power Project at jrai, in Kanpur Dehat District in the state of Uttar Pradesh through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding. SJVN will develop Solar Power Projects at the locations identified by UPNEDA near village Gurhah, Tehsil – Orai, Jalaun district and other Project near village Gujrai, Kanpur Dehat district in Uttar Pradesh. SJVN has quoted tariff of Z2.98 / KWh for both these projects and power generated from these projects will be procured by UPNEDA for 25 years.
MSRDC Issues EPC Tender for 5 MW Solar Project in Maharashtra
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), through its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) named Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy Limited invites online bids For Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning and Comprehensive O&M of cumulative 5 MW (AC) Ground Mounted Solar PV Power Plant at Village Bhilkheda, Taluka Karanja Lad District Washim, Maharashtra. Last date of submission of RFP is 10/02/2022 (upto1500 hours IST) and Pre-bid meeting will be held on 24/01/2022 at 12.00 hrs. To be qualified, bidders must have built and installed grid-connected solar power plants with a total capacity of 3 MW or more.
SJVN Gets Power Tranding License for Interstate Trading
Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has granted Trading License to SJVN Limited for interstate trading of electricity. The Commission said that SJVN meets the requirements of the Act and the Trading License Regulations for grant of inter -State trading license. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director of the company said that by the grant of Trading License, another feather has been added to SJVN’s Cap, giving a big boost to its business. SJVN will now be trading electricity generated by any public & private generating companies including companies like SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company (SAPDC), SJVN Thermal Pvt. Limited (STPL) and other upcoming Subsidiaries in Renewable Sector. Sharma stated that efficient execution of electricity trading in a competitive environment will ultimately benefit consumers in the spirit of the open access regime brought about by the Electricity Act, 2003 and subsequent CERC & SERC regulations.
CEL Issues 25 MW Solar System Tender For Varied Sites In Maharashtra
Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a public sector venture under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation, inspection, and commissioning of decentralized solar systems spanning from 2 MW to 10 MW with a combined capacity of 25 MW at multiple Maharashtra substations. The substations for these projects, the bids for which can be filed in two lots: Lot-A (14 MW) and Lot-F. (11 MW), are located in the districts of Washim, Buldhana, and Sangli. The successful bidder will also be in charge of the project’s management and maintenance for the next 12 years. The deadline for bid submissions is January 19, 2022. To be qualified for the bidding procedure, applicants for Lot-A and Lot-F projects must have a minimum average annual revenue of Rs 187 million and Rs 147 million, respectively, in the previous three financial years, according to the tender requirements.
