The tender has been issued through NGEL’s Contract and Material Department at its Corporate Centre in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The procurement is being conducted under bidding document number NGEL-CS-9900334771. Interested and eligible vendors are required to submit their techno-commercial and price proposals through the official NTPC e-procurement portal.

Participation in the tender is restricted to Class I local suppliers in accordance with the Government of India’s Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) orders. The requirement aligns with the government’s procurement framework, which promotes domestic manufacturing and encourages greater participation by local suppliers in public-sector projects.

The tender also includes eligibility conditions related to cross-border investments. Bidders from countries that share a land border with India, as well as entities having specified technology transfer arrangements with organisations from such countries, must comply with the applicable registration requirements. Such bidders must be registered with the competent authority wherever required under the relevant government regulations.

According to the tender information, no tender fee or earnest money deposit (EMD) is applicable. The notice text does not explicitly specify the amount of the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG). Vendors are advised to review the complete bidding document for further contractual requirements and applicable conditions.
