Founded in 2009, Arctech (SSE-STAR:688408) is a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of intelligent solar trackers, fixed-tilt structures, and BIPV solutions for utility-scale and commercial solar projects worldwide. It was listed among the top 4 tracker suppliers by IHS Markit and Wood Mackenzie from 2017 to 2020. The company went public on China’s Nasdaq-style STAR market in 2020.
Arctech has a 6.4GW production capacity in China, 2.8GW production capacity in trial operation, and a capacity of 3GW from the Indian manufacturing base, which is set to enter operation in the first half of 2022. The company has also partnered with global OEMs to enhance its global supply chain diversification.
The company has three major product categories: solar tracking systems (2P SkySmart II and 1P SkyLine II), fixed-tilt structures including the adjustable fixed-tilt structure, fixed-tilt structures, and BIPV solutions including Smart Rooftop BIPV solution, Dual Rooftop BIPV solution, and Solar Carport solutions.
As of the end of 2020, Arctech has supplied over 32 GW of tracking and racking systems to nearly 1,100 PV plants in 40 countries. With a diversified workforce of over 1,000 employees, the company has established local offices in China, Japan, India, the U.S., Spain, Australia, UAE, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Vietnam, and Argentina.
