NTPC Floats Tender For Supply of Bifacial PV Modules for 735 MW Solar Project


NTPC has published a request to submit proposals for a solar photovoltaic module package for the 735 MW (3*245MW) Nokh Solar Project in Rajasthan. Project scope of work includes manufacturing, supply and packing, forwarding and transportation to Nokh site. Inland transit insurance for crystalline bifacial photovoltaic module with a minimum nominal rating (530 W) and a maximum rating (560 W) is also included. The deadline for submitting bids is July 28, 2022.


Jharkhand Launches New Solar Policy, Aims To Achieve 4,000 MW Solar Capacity in Next 5 Years


Jharkhand aims to achieve a capacity of 4000 MW of solar power in the next five years and is open to attracting investors in the space with lucrative offers, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Tuesday. Soren launched the Solar Energy Policy 2022 and laid the foundation stone in the virtual mode for 600 KW capacity solar plant at Dhanbad and Dumka airports and a grid connected rooftop power plant for domestic consumers under the Giridih Solar City Scheme.

A Manufacturer, who is willing to setup a Manufacturing Unit/ Assembly Unit/ Plant within Six months from date of provisional empanelment in the state of Bihar for SPV Module along with Luminary / LiBattery shall be eligible to participate, provided the firm fulfills all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the tender document. All the bidders who shall meet the minimum eligibility criteria shall be granted provisional empanelment and shall later be eligible for receiving the preferential procurement incentives. Last Date for online submission of bid is 04/08/2022 up to 23:30 Hrs and the bids will be opened on 05/08/2022 at 15:30 Hrs.

BHEL Tenders 10.27 Million Mono PERC Solar Cells Supply

For the supply of 10.27 million monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact (PERC) solar cells with a wattage output of 5.38 W, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has issued an invitation for bids. The deadline for the submission of bids is July 15, 2022, which is also the bid opening date. The cells should have a dimension of 158.75 ± 0.5 X 158.75 ± 0.5 and a length of 5 busbars. They should have a thickness of 200 ± 20 microns, and their diagonal variation should not be a maximum of 0.5 mm.

Bangalore Metro Rail Floats 20 MW Grid-connected Rooftop PV Tender

The scope of work is design, engineering, provide, development, erection, testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization along with operations and maintenance for 25 years. The solar systems will be installed on the rooftops of stations and depot building at several BMRCL loactions. The project is to be develop under RESCO mode. The final date to submit the bid is August 10, 2022 upto 03:00 PM and bids will be opend on the same day at 03:30 PM.

Proposal To Install Solar Panels on Canals Across Haryana, Says Power Minister

Haryana Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala on Monday said the power department is preparing a proposal to install solar panels on canals across the state to produce clean energy. The minister said that the state government is paying special attention to promote the use of solar energy. For power generation, he said that four paddy stubble-based plants would be established in the state. Fatehabad will be one of the four locations. According to a statement, “These plants will not just generate electricity, but also produce compressed gas.”

UGVCL Invites Bids for Feeder Level Solar Power Plant under KUSUM-C in Gujarat

Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL) invites ‘On-line’ Request for Selection (RfS) of Solar Power Generator (SPG) for design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance of Grid Connected Feeder Level Solar Power Plants and its Associated 11 KV lines and RMS of Solar Power plant for 25 years. The solar plants will be developed through RESO Mode for Solarization of Various 11KV Feeders of Associated 66/11KV Substations in UGVCL Under PM-KUSUM – Component-C. Tender/Rfs Document fee is Rs. 10000 + GST @18%, Bidders shall require to pay separate EMD amount indicated against separate individual Solar plants to participate in the bidding of that concerned separate individual solar plant(s). 19th July is the final date to submit the online bids and bids will be opened on 25th July.

Chandigarh To Have 10 Solar Plants by August 2023

Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science and Technology Promotion Society (Crest), has proposed 10 solar power projects. These will be used to produce 75 megawatts of electricity it targets. The proposed projects are planed to build by next year August. Dharam Pal, a UT advisor, had recently asked for reports about these proposals. Crest has generated 48 MW of solar power, while the 75 MW target was for August 15, 2023. Crest will also construct two floating solar power plants in the City under the ‘Azadika Amrit Mahotsav campaign. One at Sector 39 waterworks, and one at Dhanas lake. The UT advisor was briefed by Crest CEO Debendra Dalai, while details have already been shared with the Centre by the administration.

NTPC Ltd invites e-bid on behalf of International Solar Alliance (ISA) from eligible bidders from ISA member/signatories countries for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Solar Cold Storage at Senegal, Djibouti, Sudan and Seychelles. Brief Scope of Work is Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Solar based cold storage system at Senegal (5MT), Djibouti (2 x 2MT), Sudan (5MT) and Seychelles (5MT). The scope also includes one year standard warranty and two years extended warranty. The project shall be financed by ISA as per provisions of Grant Agreement. Last Date and Time for receipt of bids is 25.07.2022 14:30 HRS IST and bids will be opend on 26.07.2022 15:00 HRS IST.
