The tender has been issued through NTPC’s Unified Shared Services Center, Contracts and Materials Department, located in Atal Nagar-Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The tender reference number for the package is 9900334660, while the contract location is associated with Tanda Super Thermal Power Station (STPP). The project covers the complete implementation of the 50 kW solar PV plant, including the supply of equipment, installation, testing and commissioning. The battery energy storage system will form an integral part of the installation, supporting electricity availability beyond periods of direct sunlight.

According to the tender provisions, the successful bidder will be required to complete the entire scope of work within four months from the commencement date notified by the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). The contract will be awarded on a firm-price basis, with financial evaluation conducted on a lump-sum basis. Bidders will therefore need to account for the complete project requirements while preparing their commercial offers.

The tender specifies a security deposit or contract performance security equivalent to 5% of the contract value. However, the available tender information does not explicitly state the monetary amounts for the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), apart from the specified performance security requirement. Bidders should consult the complete tender documents and the official e-procurement portal for the applicable financial and contractual conditions.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are eligible for applicable benefits and purchase preference provisions under the tender. The procurement is classified under an exempted category concerning the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) orders. Additionally, bidders from countries sharing a land border with India must fulfil the applicable registration requirements with the competent authority.

Interested companies should review the complete bidding documents, technical specifications and eligibility criteria before submitting their offers. The tender provides an opportunity for eligible contractors to participate in the deployment of off-grid solar and battery storage infrastructure in Ayodhya.
