Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) invites proposals for setting up of Wind- Solar Hybrid Power Projects in India, on “Build Own Operate” basis for an aggregate capacity of 255 MW with a greenshoe option of additional 255 MW of WinsSolar Hybrid Power Projects. Tata Power-DDL shall enter into Power Purchase Agreement with the successful bidders for 25 years from the Scheduled Commissioning Date (SCD) or from the date of full/ mutually agreed commissioning date of the Projects, whichever is earlier for the new projects.
Existing projects having untied capacity can also participate in the bid process in line with the conditionsspecified in the RfS &PPA. However, in such case the biddershould ensure that the minimum remaining useful life of the project is between 20 years to 25 years on the date of submission of bid. Signing of PPA for existing projects will be done accordingly based on the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS.
The RfS provides for a transparent methodology for interstate sale of wind-solar hybrid power at a price determined through competitive bidding and e-reverse auction process.
The Projects to be selected for aggregate capacity of 255 MW with a greenshoe option of additional 255 MW, provide for deployment of Wind- Solar Hybrid Power Technology. However,the selection of projects would be technology agnostic. The bidders should submit a quote in the ratio of 1:2 (solar: wind)
Earnest Money @ Rs. 5 Lakh / MW / Project is to be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee along with the Response to RfS.
The bids submission deadline is 31 October and bids will be opened on the next day.
