SJVN Green Energy Floats BoS Tender For 100 MW Solar Projects In Punjab

The supply of balance of system (BoS) and 3 years of complete operation and maintenance for 100 MW of grid-connected solar power projects in Punjab has been put out to bid by SJVN Green Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN.

The deadline for bid submissions is November 14, 2022, which will be unveiled on the same day.

The two 50 MW projects will be developed in two different parts of the state.

The earnest money deposit requirement is Rs. 26 million for bidders.

They must have the expertise as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors or developers in addition to having designed, constructed, supplied, and commissioned BoS grid-connected solar power projects with a total installed capacity of at least 30 MW in order to be eligible. 

Before the date of the notice requesting tenders, one of these projects having a capacity of at least 10 MW should be in operation for at least 3 months.

Alternately, bidders must have completed a single industrial project of Rs. 750 million in power, fertilizer, oil and gas, steel, cement, petrochemical, coal mining, or any other process industry. The project must have been in operation for at least 6 months, prior to the notice requesting bids.

Further, as of the last day of the last fiscal year, the annual average turnover of bidders for the preceding 3 fiscal years must be at least Rs. 750 million, and they should have a working capital of Rs. 250 million.

In the most recent fiscal year and any two of the three previous fiscal years, bidders’ net worth must have increased.

Additionally, they must have worked as EPC contractors or developers to complete at least one electrical substation with a voltage level of 33 kV or higher, including components such as power transformers and circuit breakers. Prior to the publication date of the notice requesting bids, the substation must have been in service for at least 6 months.
