TUSCO Invites Consultants For Floating Solar in Uttar Pradesh

The TUSCO Limited has invited bids to appoint consultants for floating solar projects on various dam in Uttar Pradesh.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, (MNRE), had allocated the state of Uttar Pradesh to THDCIL for development of Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPPs). The UMREPPs are to be developed through a SPV in the form of a JV Company between THDCIL and a Government organization of UP State.

TUSCO Limited, a Joint Venture Company of THDC India Limited (THDCIL) and UPNEDA with equity participation of 74% and 26% between THDCIL and UPNEDA respectively, was incorporated on 12th September, 2020.

TUSCO Ltd has been tasked with the development of six floating solar projects by the UP Irrigation Department. The floating solar projects are to be developed on Matatila, Dhukwan, Jamani, Arjun Sagar, Ramganga, and Adawa dam reservoirs in Uttar Pradesh.

The consultancy work will be awarded through domestic competitive bidding by TUSCO.

The scope of work for the selected party includes preparing a pre-feasibility report and a detailed project report for the development of floating solar power projects on dam reservoirs.

The bid submission deadline is January 30,2022 and bids will be opened on the next day.
