nogaholding, Bahrain’s Oil and Gas Holding Company has collaborated with Hope Ventures and Bahrain’s EWA, Electricity and Water Authority to make Beban the first TV show powered by 100% renewable energy.
Hope Ventures is the investment arm of Hope Fund as well as the producer of the entrepreneurship-themed reality television show, Beban.
The Beban TV program focuses on entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas before regional investors looking for investment opportunities and strategic business opportunities.
This show showcases local success stories and provides a platform for local business growth in regional and international markets. This partnership promotes sustainability and encourages alternative energy development in the Kingdom.
The report also mentions the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitments at COP26. These include a pledge to reduce carbon emissions by 30 percent through local projects and to encourage the use and development of renewable energies.

He said that EWA was proud to enable Beban TV to use renewable energy and also showcase the private sector by co-investing in local entrepreneurs and taking part in their growth.
