SWELECT Energy Systems’ Subsidiary, SWELECT Taiyo, Commissions 7 MW Solar Power Plant in Tamil Nadu

SWELECT Taiyo Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of SWELECT Energy Systems Limited, has successfully commissioned a 7 MW solar power plant in Singalandhapuram and Vadakkuveli Villages in Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, Tamil Nadu. The plant will operate under the Group Captive User model, with power purchase agreements already executed with industrial consumers for the sale of solar power.

The commissioning of the solar power plant is a significant milestone for SWELECT Energy Systems Limited and its subsidiary, as it represents a step towards promoting the use of clean energy in India. The solar power plant is expected to generate approximately 11,000 units of electricity per day and will reduce the carbon footprint of the industrial consumers that purchase the solar power.
