NLC India Limited, Neyveli has invited online bids in English for the “BOS works for setting up of a 50 MW Solar Power Project in the Mined-Out land in Mine II/NLCIL, including Operation & Maintenance for 3 years.” The bidding process will be conducted in two parts, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 13, 2023, through video conference.
The tender document can be obtained at a non-refundable cost of Rs. 10,000, and a bid guarantee of Rs. 41,67,000 is required. The deadline for the submission of online bids, both Part-I and Part-II, along with the physical cover, is July 4, 2023, by 14:30 hrs. The opening of Part-I and the physical cover will take place on the same day at 15:00 hrs.
The selected contractor will be responsible for executing the entire scope of work on a lump-sum turnkey basis, excluding the supply of Solar PV Modules. The scope includes design, engineering, site development, manufacturing, inspection, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the 50 MW Solar Power Project and the Evacuation System. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of the project for 3 years after the warranty period of 12 months from Commercial Operation Declaration (COD).
The project aims to set up a solar power facility on mined-out land, contributing to renewable energy generation and sustainable development.
