UNDP Lebanon Initiates Clean Energy Transformation With Hybrid Solar-Diesel System At Tayyebat Water Facility

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lebanon is inviting qualified companies to submit bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) and diesel system at the Tayyebat water treatment facility in Insariyeh, South Lebanon.

This project aims to increase the facility’s reliance on renewable energy, reducing its dependence on fossil fuels and operating costs. The hybrid system will combine solar panels with a backup diesel generator to ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply for the local community.
