Himachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (HIMURJA) has announced a call for bids to enlist vendors for a rate contract aimed at the design, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar power projects ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW under the net metering and net billing initiative.
These solar systems will be strategically installed on the rooftops of various structures including domestic, government, institutional, and other buildings across Himachal Pradesh. The scope of work also encompasses a comprehensive warranty, operation, and maintenance plan for a duration of five years.
Projects with capacities ranging from 1 kW to 50 kW will be integrated under the net metering program, while those above 50 kW up to 500 kW will be implemented under the net billing program in alignment with the technical specifications set forth by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) as part of the grid-connected rooftop solar program, Phase-II.
The deadline for bid submission is set for February 20, 2024 and Bid Opening Date is February 21, 11:00 AM.
Bidders must pay a non-refundable tender document fee of โน20,000 and make an earnest money deposit of โน500,000.
Upon selection, the successful bidder must facilitate all necessary arrangements for efficient power evacuation and surplus power injection into the grid at agreed interconnection points with the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEBL).
