Eastern Railway Seeks Bids for 1.5 MWp Rooftop Solar PV Installation at Asansol Division under PPP Model

Eastern Railway invites bids for installation a 1.5 MWp (1 MWp + 0.5 MWp) grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic module system under a PPP arrangement aimed at generating and supplying power to the Asansol Division solely through developer mode, facilitated by a power purchase agreement (PPA) at Asansol Division.

The deadline for bid submissions is March 20, 2024.

The work must be completed within 12 months from the appointed date.

The Bid security amount is Rs.10.68Lakh/MW and the cost of the RFQ document is Rs. 34,810.

The Performance Security (PBG) required is Rs. 16.02 Lakh/MWp. The successful bidder is expected to furnish this PBG amount to the Zonal Railways within 30 days of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Bidders must demonstrate prior successful installation experience of at least an aggregate capacity of 200 KW in grid-connected solar rooftop systems, either in Developer or EPC mode, prior to the scheduled submission date of the Technical Bid. This experience must be directly attributable to the Bidder.

Prior to the Technical Bid deadline, bidders must have experience installing and commissioning Grid-connected systems with a minimum aggregate capacity of 1000 KW in both Developer and EPC modes, in a variety of residential, social, commercial, industrial, government, and other sectors. This experience must be directly attributable to the Bidder.

The interested bidder’s average turnover over the last three financial years must be Rs. 150 lakh per year, and the bidder must have maintained a positive net worth in all three of those financial years.
