With a capacity of 16.82 MWp, the project is projected to generate 24,750 MWh of clean, stable, and sustainable electricity annually. Moreover, it will substantially reduce emissions, offsetting approximately 11,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, aligning with Ghana’s initiatives to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.

This innovative solar endeavor is backed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as part of a comprehensive $30 million clean power and water agreement with Helios’ parent company, LMI Holdings. The objective is to foster job creation and promote greener, more sustainable, and competitive industrial development within Ghana.
