Sicredi, one of Brazil’s largest credit cooperatives with a presence in multiple states, has inaugurated a new solar plant in Benevides, Pará. The installation, developed by Enerzee’s engineering team, will provide renewable energy to all Sicredi units in the state, comprising 90 branches. With an installed capacity of 2.5 MW, the plant features 5,440 photovoltaic modules.
Alexandre Sperafico, CEO of Enerzee, highlights the partnership’s focus on sustainability and the utilization of renewable energy sources to reduce carbon emissions. The collaboration underscores Sicredi and Enerzee’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
Headquartered in Cuiabá and with an office in São Paulo, Enerzee has six years of experience in power plant construction and is a key integrator for the Brazilian multinational WEG. With over 2,000 photovoltaic plants installed nationwide, the company serves a diverse range of clients, including residential, commercial, and agricultural projects.
The inauguration of the solar plant in Benevides marks a significant step forward in Sicredi’s sustainability efforts, demonstrating its commitment to utilizing clean energy sources to power its operations across Pará.
