HPPCL Invites Bids for 6 MW Solar Power Project at Tihra Khas I, Una in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) has announced an invitation for online bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the design, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance of a 6 MW (AC) solar power project at Tihra Khas I, Una in Himachal Pradesh. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope system, comprising a Technical Bid (Envelope-I) and a Price Bid (Envelope-II), with an e-Reverse Auction.

The contractor’s responsibilities include the comprehensive development and delivery of the commissioned solar power plant to HPPCL. This encompasses land development, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, manufacturer testing, packaging and forwarding, transportation, site receipt and unloading, storage, insurance at all stages, associated civil and electrical works, services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, performance demonstration, and operational acceptance of the Grid Interactive Solar PV Power Plant on a turnkey basis. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for eight years. The scope includes all necessary equipment, materials, and services required for the satisfactory operation and integration of the solar PV system with the State Electricity Authority(s)/STU’s evacuation system.
