Reservoir Link Energy Bhd, an energy-related services provider, has announced the successful completion of solar projects totaling more than 1.5 GW. This milestone comes after the company’s strategic diversification into the solar renewable energy segment in 2021, following the acquisition of Founder Energy Sdn Bhd.

Since its entry into the solar sector, Reservoir Link has completed a total of 1,513 MW in solar projects. In the financial year ending December 31, 2021, the company delivered 311 MW, followed by the completion of 924 MW over the next 18 months, culminating in the financial period ending June 30, 2023. An additional 278 MW were delivered in the financial year ending June 30, 2024.

The Group’s substantial growth in its solar project portfolio has established it as a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) service provider in Malaysia. This achievement underscores Reservoir Link’s commitment to renewable energy solutions and its ongoing development of a robust pipeline of solar projects. The company is also exploring other alternative energy solutions to diversify its revenue streams.

Thien Chiet Chai, Executive Deputy Chairman of Reservoir Link, remarked, โ€œOur bold venture into the realm of solar energy has been incredibly gratifying, given the positive growth trajectory we have experienced. This incredible milestone of 1.5 GW in completed solar projects within such a short timeframe is a testament to the unwavering dedication and expertise of our team. We have solidified our position as a leader in the burgeoning renewable energy space. However, we believe this is just the beginning of our journey, especially with the imminent listing of Founder Energy Sdn Bhd on the NASDAQ stock exchange, scheduled to be completed this year. We are truly excited about the future as we continue to chart the course for a cleaner tomorrow in line with the growing adoption of renewables and the shift towards clean energy for a more sustainable future.โ€
