GERC Reviews PGVCL’s Petition For 259 MW Solar Power Tariff Approval Under PM-KUSUM-C Scheme

The Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) recently held a hearing on a petition submitted by Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The petition sought approval for the adoption of tariffs discovered through a competitive bidding process for 101 solar power plants, totaling a capacity of 259.0 MW. This initiative is part of the broader PM-KUSUM-C Scheme, which aims to enhance the solarization of various 11 kV feeders within the PGVCL’s jurisdiction.
