Aspen Power, a leading distributed generation platform dedicated to building the clean energy future, has completed six solar projects totaling 25.5 megawatts (MW) direct current (dc) of generation capacity in Pennsylvania. The projects are expected to produce up to 37 million kilowatt-hours electricity in their first year of operation.
These projects represent the first half of a portfolio Aspen Power acquired from Sunrise Energy, who originated the projects. Aspen Power co-developed the projects in conjunction with Sunrise Energy. Aspen Power’s full portfolio of completed or contracted solar projects in Pennsylvania totals more than 145 MW.The six sites also generate around 480 jobs to the state through the development, construction and maintenance of the solar systems.
