The Ministry of Energy, Trade, and Industry (YEEB) has announced an extension for applications under the “Sponsorship Plan for the Energy Upgrade and Strengthening of the Competitiveness of Large Enterprises.” The new deadline for submissions is September 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
The plan, which falls under Measures C3.1I7 and C6.1I5 of Cyprus’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (SRP), has a total budget of €17 million. Of this amount, €10 million is sourced from the European Union’s REPowerEU Scheme. The funding is designated specifically for costs that align with the objectives of REPowerEU.
Applications, along with all necessary supporting documents, must be submitted through the YEEB’s electronic Sponsorship Plans System. Proposals will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis, and the total funding awarded will not exceed the plan’s available budget.
Interested parties can access the Plan Guide, which includes detailed information and required forms, on the Industry and Technology Service website.
