
Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh met with Bader Mohammed Al-Saad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. The meeting, held at the Prime Ministry, focused on enhancing the longstanding partnership between Jordan and the Arab Fund.
Attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Touqan, the meeting underscored the significance of the successful collaboration between Jordan and the Fund, which has spanned several decades. Al-Khasawneh emphasized the importance of maintaining this fruitful relationship to meet national priorities and achieve the Kingdom’s development goals.
The Prime Minister highlighted Jordan’s commitment to advancing its economic modernization vision, which aligns with the comprehensive modernization project initiated by His Majesty King Abdullah II. This vision covers a range of sectors, including energy, water, digital economy, and transportation. Al-Khasawneh also noted the international recognition of Jordanโs economic reforms, evidenced by improved sovereign credit ratings and compliance with the International Monetary Fund’s credit facility program. These developments reflect Jordan’s robust economic and structural reforms amidst regional and global challenges.
