Bureau Veritas Expands Renewable Energy Services with Acquisition of ArcVera Renewables

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services, has announced the acquisition of ArcVera Renewables, a specialist in finance-grade consulting and technical services for wind, solar, and battery storage projects worldwide. This strategic acquisition aligns with Bureau Veritas’s LEAP | 28 strategy, aiming to solidify its position in the rapidly growing renewables sector.

Bureau Veritas is enhancing its contributions to the energy transition by offering comprehensive solutions to meet both current and future challenges in renewable asset development and operation. The addition of ArcVera Renewables will bolster Bureau Veritas’s capabilities, particularly in North America, to support landowners, developers, owners, and investors in advancing their wind and solar farm projects.

ArcVera Renewables, headquartered in Golden, Colorado, provides advanced technical site assessments and consultancy throughout the development and operational phases of utility-scale renewable projects. The company has supported 9GW of solar projects across North and South America and evaluated wind projects totaling 93,000 MW in the United States. ArcVera Renewables reported revenues of €6.5 million in 2023.
