JinkoSolar Listed in Forbes 2024 China ESG 50

JinkoSolar has recently been recognized for its outstanding practices and achievements in carbon target validation, production of N-type Neo Green series modules at “zero-carbon factories,” demonstrating its commitment to promoting global sustainable development. After rigorous evaluation by the Forbes selection committee, JinkoSolar has earned a place on the Forbes 2024 China ESG 50 list.

Forbes 2024 China ESG 50 list identifies 50 exemplary companies from thousands listed on A-shares, Chinese-funded Hong Kong stocks, and overseas-listed Chinese stocks, setting a benchmark for corporate ESG practices. In addition to this accolade, JinkoSolar has achieved remarkable milestones over the past year.

JinkoSolar became the first photovoltaic group in the world to pass the three major target reviews of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In the CDP’s global climate questionnaire rating, an authoritative environmental non-profit organization, JinkoSolar received a “Management Level – Grade B” assessment. EcoVadis, a globally recognized sustainability rating agency, also highly affirmed JinkoSolar, granting us a “Silver” sustainability rating. Furthermore, in the 2023 annual ESG ratings, JinkoSolar, as a photovoltaic company that achieved a leap in ratings within a year in China, was awarded an “BBB” rating by MSCI, a global authoritative index agency, fully demonstrating the company’s outstanding strength and significant progress in the field of ESG.

Notably, the Tiger Neo modules of JinkoSolar’s Neo Green series released earlier this year are all produced by “zero-carbon factories” certified by TÜV Rheinland. This achievement not only highlights our firm commitment to environmental protection in the production process, but also reflects our leadership in promoting the industry’s green transformation.
