Gentari, along with other firms like Juniper, Enfinity, and Sunsure, won contracts for a combined 1.2 GW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power project tender by SJVN in India. Gentari’s share of 400 MW was secured at a competitive rate of โน3.19/kWh, with SJVN committing to a 25-year power purchase agreement. This project aligns with India’s renewable energy expansion, allowing SJVN to act as an intermediary procurer, selling power to various entities across the country. The project mandates established technologies to mitigate risk and ensure efficient commissioning.
The project includes a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA), enabling nationwide access to hybrid wind-solar power sources. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Indiaโs renewable energy sector, supporting the nationโs clean energy goals.
Stay tuned as Gentari continues to drive advancements in sustainable power, contributing to a cleaner and greener future, one megawatt at a time.
