Accelerating Solar Parks: MNRE Pushes For Timely Completion Across India

A meeting to review the progress of the ‘Development of Solar Parks & Ultra Mega Solar Power Projects’ was held at Atal Akshaya Urja Bhawan, New Delhi. Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), led the discussions, focusing on the progress, completion status, and challenges faced by various states and public sector undertakings (PSUs).

During the review, Shri Singh emphasized the need to address key issues hampering the timely execution of solar projects. He urged all agencies involved to expedite their efforts to complete solar parks and associated projects.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to overcome obstacles and ensure the projects align with India’s renewable energy targets. Shri Singh reiterated the ministry’s commitment to supporting the states and PSUs in resolving challenges and advancing the development of large-scale solar infrastructure to power India’s clean energy future.
