THDC India Limited, a Schedule-A Mini Ratna Category-I PSU, has invited expressions of interest (EOI) for the empanelment of technical consulting agencies to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for floating solar power projects across the country. The initiative aims to bolster solar energy infrastructure and drive the adoption of renewable energy.
Under the tender (EOI No. THDCIL/NCR/CC-505), the consultancy will focus on preparing DPRs for two categories of projects:
- Category FS-2-A1: Projects up to 100 MW capacity.
- Category FS-2-A2: Projects ranging from 100 MW to 500 MW.
Consultants empanelled for FS-2-A2 may also be eligible to handle projects exceeding 500 MW, contingent upon meeting financial criteria at the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage.
The proposed projects are set to be developed in eight states: Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
The deadline for submitting queries regarding the tender is December 9, 2024, by 5:00 PM IST. Applications for the Expression of Interest (EOI) must be submitted by December 26, 2024, no later than 3:00 PM IST. The EOIs will be opened on December 27, 2024, at 3:00 PM IST.
The invitation is open to Indian firms, with provisions for joint ventures or consortiums with a maximum of two partners, where the lead partner must be Indian. Additionally, only Class-I local suppliers, defined as entities with at least 60% local content, will be eligible.
The empanelled consultants will qualify to participate in future tenders for DPR services under THDCIL. THDC India Limited reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its discretion.
