Global Leaders to Convene at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2025 is set to bring together 13 heads of state, over 140 ministers, and global leaders in business and technology to explore a $10 trillion economic transformation opportunity. The ADSW Summit, the anchor event, will take place on January 14-15 at ADNEC under the theme โ€œThe Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress.โ€

Summit Highlights

The ADSW Summit will feature 34 sessions with more than 70 speakers addressing key issues such as global energy transformation, the impact of artificial intelligence (AI), water and food security, and financing for sustainable development. Key discussions will include reshaping global investment patterns through the digital-climate nexus, innovations in energy storage, and modeling climate risk with big data.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar, emphasized the transformative vision of ADSW 2025. โ€œADSW is not just a platform, but a bold call to action to explore how interconnected systems are driving a new era of supercharged progress, unlocking endless possibilities for a better tomorrow,โ€ he said.

Sustainability at the Core

In line with its commitment to sustainability, ADSW 2025 will be powered by 305 megawatts of clean energy through Clean Energy Certificates provided by Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC).

Hosted by Masdar, the UAEโ€™s clean energy leader, ADSW 2025 will also include a series of key events throughout the week, fostering collaboration among global stakeholders to drive sustainable development.
