Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a prominent renewable EPC company, has reported a strong performance for the third quarter of FY25, achieving its second-highest quarterly revenue since being listed. The companyโs growth has been driven by an accelerated pace of execution in both domestic and international EPC projects, resulting in impressive year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth of 215% and quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth of 78%.
SWREL’s operational efficiency has been a key factor in its performance, with the company reporting positive operational EBITDA for the past three consecutive quarters. For the third quarter, the company recorded a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of INR 41 crore, a significant increase from INR 20 crore in the previous quarter. This strong financial performance is further supported by improved cash flows and indemnity receipts during the quarter, contributing to a reduction in net debt by approximately INR 150 crore to INR 175 crore.
The company continues to see a strong order inflow momentum, securing a total of INR 5,679 crore in orders over the first nine months of FY25. This includes two significant domestic order/Letter of Award (LOA) wins in the third quarter. The robust order inflow reflects the companyโs ability to scale operations and strengthen its position in both domestic and international markets.
Commenting on the results, Mr. CK Thakur, CEO for Asia, Africa, LATAM & Europe at SWREL, emphasized the resilience of the companyโs business model. He highlighted the company’s focus on scaling operations, improving profitability, and continuing to deliver value to stakeholders. With a steady flow of high-value domestic orders and a solid project pipeline, SWREL is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging opportunities and drive sustained growth.
Overall, SWREL’s performance in Q3 FY25 underscores its strong operational and financial health, with continued momentum in its order inflows and improved profitability. The company remains committed to enhancing operational excellence and expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector.
