Vadodara Municipal Corporation Invites Tender For Solar Rooftop Power Project

Vadodara Municipal Corporation has issued an e-tender notice for the design, engineering, supply, procurement, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of a solar rooftop power plant at various municipal buildings. The project is valued at approximately ₹19.86 crore and has a completion period of 240 days. The tender process is open to registered contractors affiliated with VMC, central or state government bodies, PWD, MES, GEDA, or other relevant institutions.

The tender follows a two-part system comprising a technical bid and a price bid. The estimated Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) required is ₹39.75 lakh, while the tender fee is set at ₹20,000. The official tender documents will be available for download from February 6, 2025, to February 24, 2025, until 11:00 AM. The deadline for submission of the online tender documents is February 24, 2025.

Interested bidders are required to submit a hard copy of the pre-qualification bid along with the EMD and tender fee by registered post or speed post. The documents should be addressed to the Executive Engineer of the Streetlight Department, located on the second floor, Room No. 202, at the Khanderao Market Building in Vadodara. The last date for the receipt of these documents is February 27, 2025.

The tendering process will be conducted exclusively through the online platform tender.nprocure.com. Any conditional tenders will not be accepted, and if any conditions are found in the price bid, the tender will be liable for rejection. Vadodara Municipal Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without providing specific reasons. The issued tender notice is considered a part of the contract document.
