Building on the successful completion of a 2.4 MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system in December 2022, the latest phase involves the installation of an additional rooftop solar PV system at Northport’s CT2 building in Pelabuhan Klang. The new system will have a total capacity of 2,025.81 kWp (1,600 kWac), bringing Northport’s overall solar energy capacity to 4.4 MWp.

The SPPA, signed on 10 February 2025, underscores both companies’ commitment to advancing Malaysia’s transition toward renewable energy. The initiative is expected to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support sustainability goals without requiring upfront investment from Northport.

Malakoff Radiance stated that the partnership aligns with its mission to deliver cost-effective, innovative, and sustainable energy solutions for businesses. The company remains focused on expanding its role in Malaysia’s commercial and industrial renewable energy sector, driving the shift toward cleaner energy sources.
