Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and energy storage solutions, has secured a major contract to supply 835 MW of its high-efficiency inverters to Juniper Green Energy, an independent power producer focused on solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects. This partnership marks a significant step in supporting Indiaโ€™s clean energy transition and aligns with Juniper Green Energyโ€™s ambitious goal of achieving 10 GW of installed solar capacity by 2030.

By adopting Sungrowโ€™s advanced inverter technologies, Juniper Green Energy aims to enhance power generation efficiency and ensure long-term system sustainability. The deployment will include SG320HX-20 (300 kW) string inverters and SG4400UD-20 (4.4 MW) central inverters. These systems offer up to 99% efficiency and feature multiple maximum power point tracking (MPPT) capabilities, ensuring optimal performance under variable conditions.

Sunil Badesra, Country Head, Sungrow India, said in a statement, “This 835 MW partnership with Juniper Green Energy is a testament to the trust in Sungrow’s innovations and our ability to deliver at scale. Juniper’s rapid growth and dedication to high-performance solar infrastructure align perfectly with Sungrow’s mission to deliver efficient, intelligent, and reliable inverters. By integrating our advanced inverter solutions across strategic solar projects in Maharashtra and Rajasthan, we are not only enhancing grid stability and energy efficiency but also paving the way for India’s green energy vision.”

The central inverters are specifically engineered for robust operation, capable of maintaining full power output in extreme temperatures reaching up to 51ยฐCโ€”an essential feature for Indiaโ€™s demanding climate. The inverters will be installed at key solar sites across Maharashtraโ€”Chappalgaon, Karanja, and Jalkotโ€”as well as in Rajasthan at Fatehgarh and Bhadla. These locations have been strategically selected to harness maximum solar resources and facilitate efficient integration into Indiaโ€™s expanding renewable energy grid.
